Weather Update
The forcast bad weather has failed to arrive! The Breakfast and After School Club will be open as normal from tomorrow (Tuesday 11th.). We will be expecting children as per your booking form which we will have received before Christmas. Any alterations or requests for additional places need to be made to the school office. We were promised the roads around school were to be cleared and gritted over the weekend by Trafford Council, but as yet this has not happened. The PTA have delivered salt to the school to allow us to keep our paths open. By this afternoon the normal exit from school will be open so please collect your children in the parents' waiting area. Nursery children will need to enter and exit school through the rear door opposite the Headteacher's room until the playground is clear. We expect all children to have returned to school by tomorrow (Monday's attendance 99%). Thank you for your understanding during this most unusual difficult weather.

Weather Update
We hope to open again on Monday (assuming the bad weather forcast for this weekend doesn't hinder our efforts). Unfortunately we cannot open the breakfast or after school club just yet but hope to do so by the middle of next week. Thank you for the orderly entry and exit from school. The decision by most parents to walk to school certainly helped. The school's pupil attendance was 70%.

School Open on Friday 8th January (weather permitting)
The decision to close a school is never taken lightly. Of utmost importance is the safety of the children and staff. We will be open to receive children on Friday. We cannot take responsibility for your journey to school and you should consider carefully the conditions of the roads and pavements around school which remain extremely icy and would make driving conditions difficult, before deciding to attend. If you choose not to bring your child to school the absence will be authorised. The continued bad weather will mean some changes to the normal operation of the school. Firstly Breakfast Club and After School Club are NOT operating. All children will enter school via the staff car park and main entrance which we have now cleared and gritted. We will not be able to allow the children to play outside as our playground is unfit for use but we will clear areas as soon as possible. Please ensure your child wraps up very warm and wears suitable footwear for their journey to school. They may bring a pair of shoes to change into. School dinners should operate as normal. All of these arrangements are subject to change. Further information will be posted on this site and sent via email to those parents who are registered to receive email communications.
